In response to the continued growth in the number of graduates and to allow our graduates the ability to invite as many family members and guests as they would like, we will hold three separate ceremonies for the May 2025 Commencement:Ìý
- The 9 a.m. ceremony will host graduates of theÌýCollege of Natural and Health Sciences.ÌýÌý
- The 12:30 p.m. ceremony will host graduates of theÌýCollege of Arts and LettersÌýand theÌýCollege of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education.ÌýÌý

For more information about registering for May 2025 Commencement please see theÌýMay CommencementÌýpage.
Families and Guests
Tickets are not required for family members and guests to attend the ceremonies. Seats cannot be reserved for family members and guests. It is recommended that guests arrive early at the Florida State Fairgrounds, and plan for traffic during arrival and departure.
Doors open to the venue one hour prior to the ceremony.
For families and friends that cannot make the ceremony, a live stream is available to each ceremony during the ceremony.
Guests needing accomodations should ask their graduating student to notate that on their Commencement application. Please note that due to limited accomodation seating, each guest needing accomodation is limited to (1) companion to sit with them in that section.
Family Communication Philosophy
While we understand family members and guests are excited to celebrate their student's achievements at commencement, we are only able to provide general information about the ceremony as opposed to student-specific information. Please visit the Student Affairs Family Communication Philosophy for more details.
