What is Physical Wellness?
Physical wellness is taking care of your body for optimal health and functioning. It encompasses a variety of healthy behaviors including regular medical check-ups, adequate exercise, proper nutrition, and appropriate alcohol and other drug use.

Nutrition Consultations
ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø offers students free nutrition consultation services. If you are interested in meeting with a Certified Nutrition Specialist, please email the Wellness Center atÌýnutrition@ut.edu.
Become a Certified Nutrition Specialist
Each spring semester, Live Well ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø partners with Student Government to bringÌýÌýto campus in order to train students who are interested in becoming a Certified Nutrition Specialist. Some scholarships are available for qualifying ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø students. For more information on this opportunity, please contactÌýwellness@ut.edu.
The Body Project
Ìýis a group-based intervention that provides a forum for female-identifying college students to confront unrealistic appearance ideals and develop healthy body image and self-esteem. The program is a two-hour, body acceptance workshop delivered in a group format and open to all genders and ages.
During the Body Project Experience, you will:
- Challenge unwanted body comments
- Improve your body image
- Connect with others impacted by our complicated relationships with food and exercise
- Commit to making positive change together

Victim Advocacy
ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø is proud to offerÌývictim advocacyÌýservices to any student who has been the victim of a violent crime. The program is staffed with trained advocates who are designated by the Office of the Attorney General to provide victim services and work on-campus in student life. An advocate may be contacted during the fall and spring semesters through theÌývictim advocate hotline (813) 257-3900Ìýor by contactingÌýCampus Safety. During summer terms or between academic terms, advocates may be contacted solely through Campus Safety. You may always contact an advocate by emailingÌývictimadvocacy@ut.edu.
