The following are the answers to frequently asked questions about 桃瘾社区 Mail Services.

Mail Services accepts United States Postal Services (USPS) packages and mail only. USPS outbound mail is picked up at 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and may be dropped off at the mail slot or the front counter in the Mail Services lobby. Mail Services does not offer any other outbound shipping service other than USPS.

For UPS mailings, students may ship packages through 桃瘾社区鈥檚 bookstore, located on the first floor of the Vaughn Center. There is also a UPS store located at 301 W. Platt St. next to Walgreens within walking distance of campus.

For pre-labeled FedEx mailings, students may utilize the FedEx drop box located in the Mail Services lobby. Mailings are collected from this drop-off box Monday through Friday at 6 p.m. For unlabeled or larger FedEx packages, a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center is located downtown within walking distance of campus at 400 N. Tampa St., Suite 103.

Students may access the intelligent parcel lockers located within the Mail Services lobby from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday during the regular semester. Students must use their SpartanCard to gain access to the lobby after 5 p.m. and on weekends.

For the retrieval of First Class mail, large packages and to ship outbound USPS parcels, the front counter is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Weekend package pick-up is available Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for items located in the parcel lockers.

Hours of operation may be limited during academic breaks and holidays. Any changes will be communicated through the Mail Services webpage.

Typically, packages are processed and ready for retrieval within one day of receipt at Mail Services.

The start of semesters is very busy for Mail Services as we work to accept, process, sort and notify students of their packages.听During these peak times, students should expect a two-to-three-business day processing time before packages are ready for retrieval.

Students will receive two emails for their packages. The first email is to notify the student that a package has arrived for them and that Mail Services has accepted the package within the facility. The second email informs the student that the package is ready for retrieval and instructs where to collect the package 鈥 from either a parcel locker or the front counter.听Students should wait to receive the second email before coming to Mail Services to collect their package.

Unclaimed packages will be returned to the sender 15 days after arrival to Mail Services. Packages containing perishable items (e.g., HelloFresh, flowers, etc.) will be returned to the sender if not claimed in two days.

Student mailbox information is located in Workday, accessed through My桃瘾社区ampa. Once in Workday, click on your picture in the upper righthand corner and then select 鈥淰iew Profile.鈥 In the blue column on the left, select the third option: 鈥淐ontact.鈥 Under 鈥淚nstitutional Contact Information鈥 is the student鈥檚 mailbox information.

Please use the recipient鈥檚 full legal name. Do not use nicknames, second party names or in C/O. Mail Services cannot guarantee delivery of items addressed incorrectly.

When shipping packages during peak times, it is recommended to concentrate on items such as clothing, books and other non-immediately needed items. Retrieving packages at the beginning of the semester may take additional time due to the high volume of packages being received and processed. Shipping smaller essential items, such as medications, toiletries and chargers is strongly not advised. Students should bring those items with them, along with items needed for the first few days on campus.

If ordering bedding and linens through the Residence Hall Linens program, linens will be delivered directly to the students鈥 residence prior to the start of the semester. It is not recommended to ship bedding and linens from other companies or from home at the beginning of the semester due to the high volume of packages to receive and process.
