Chemistry majors will also be assigned a faculty advisor to guide each student and help them achieve their goals. Students will also have the opportunity to work closely with world-class faculty both in research opportunities in areas such as marine nutrient analysis, protein chemistry, lanthanide extraction, computational modeling, organic reaction development, natural product isolation and chemical education.
